Some customers ask about if we have service charge or any charges beside ticket price.

We do not have any service charges at all on our web site. What you see is what you get charged. Please be aware that we are not like other sites that have hidden charges. We stand by our 100% satisfaction guarantee for online purchase as stated on our web site.

We will do our best to accomodate your requests. We know that it's hard to keep everybody happy, but we will do whatever we can as long as it's reasonable. We totally understand that it's our customers who support us and make our business as big as it is today.

Open Ticket

If you are not sure the date and time to travel, we suggest you to buy "Open" ticket from our agents or local grocery stores. All open tickets are valid for a year from purchase. You can reserve your seat online 1 day before departure.

WE DO NOT OFFER OPEN TICKETS ONLINE. We gurantee seat for all online E-Tickets.

Reservation, Reservation

During the July 4th weekend, we are experiencing unprecedented volume of passengers. For example, on July 5th, DC=>NY 1:00 PM, we have run 6 buses. Still some customers had to take next bus which is 5:00 PM.

TO BE FAIR to everybody, we take reservation online now. All E-Tickets are automatically reserved seats. Tickets purchased through agents or local grocery stores ARE NOT GUARANTEED seats unless customers make reservation online or through the phone. We only take reservation at least 1 day before departure.

NO RESERVATION, NO GUARANTEE SEATS.

Buy ticket at bus station, highly not recommended!

Some customers would like to buy tickets at our bus stations. This is because sometimes some of buses are not full, we sell tickets at spot.

However, things have changed, we are experiencing tremendous growth. Please check our previous blog about boarding sequence.

We strongly recommend our customers to purchase tickets online or at local grocery store in advance.

Charged twice

Some customers are concerned of being charged twice when purchase tickets online. We know that not everybody is computer guru. Besides, sometimes network is very slow. Your browser might not work well either. This happens to us too. That's why we are watching every order in real time. We are glad to refund your money as soon as we find out or notified by customer. If you only receive one order notification, you are not charged twice.

SAVE $5

DC,MD,VA customers can buy tickets at local grocery stores. It's so convenient. Also you can save $5 on a roundtrip ticket(DC<=>New York). ($30 instead of $35 online) Ticket is valid in a whole year. You can use the ticket anytime within a year from purchase.

Guarantee Seats for online tickets

Some customers ask about if we can reserve seats for them. We are running a different model than Greyhound or other bus companies. We try to make things simple and bring convenience to our customers.

Here is the boarding sequence we are using.

First, we let customers who bought tickets online board bus.

Second, we board those customers who has bought tickets from local grocery stores(https://www.apexbus.com/localstore.aspx) or hold tickets purchased before.

Third, if there are seats still available, we will sell tickets at bus station.

If we have quite a lot customers, for example, every friday 5:00PM from DC to NY we run three buses (two of which are standby buses), we use our standby buses if there are any available.

We try to get everyone onto our buses. However, if our customers buy tickets online or local grocery stores, it will make our life and our customers' travel experience easier!

Wrong tickets

Due to July 4th holiday, we've got a record high number of customers! -:)

In the mean time, we have helped 7 customers changed their tickets. This is the highest requests in one day. But we are happy as our customers are happy too! Here is a quote from our customer after he/she made a wrong purchase,
